VOIS took part in the international trade show MIDEM 2013

The largest international music trade show MIDEM took place in Cannes (France) on January 26-29, 2013. Deputy Director of VOIS Mr. Erik Valdes-Martines held a series of meetings with foreign colleagues and attended special events of the exhibition.
Mr. Erik Valdes-Martines met the representatives of the collective management societies PPL (UK) and SENA (the Netherlands) and discussed the issues of cooperation in the framework of the concluded agreements. As a result of negotiations with GVL (Germany) and AFI (Italy) the parties decided to conclude mutual representation agreements.
Mr. Erik Valdes-Martines took part in the conferences and seminars devoted to the activities of the societies for collective management of rights and the new European legislative directives in the field of copyright and related rights. He also met the right owners and the companies that represent the interests of performers and producers of phonograms.
