VOIS took part in Subregional seminar “Protection of Copyright, Related Rights and Collective Management” in Erevan

VOIS took part in Subregional seminar “Protection of Copyright, Related Rights and Collective Management” which was held in Erevan (Armenia) on March 14-15, 2013.
The seminar was organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC). The event gathered together experts from Estonia, Georgia, Russia and Armenia, the Armenian right owners and users, directors of the National Intellectual Property Office of Armenia.
Mr. Erik Valdes-Martines, Deputy Director of VOIS, presented a report “Collective Management of Related Rights in Russia”. He told the foreign colleagues about the Russian system of collective management, the current legislation and the activities of VOIS.
