VOIS concluded a bilateral agreement with the Union of Performing Artists STOART – the Polish collective rights management society. According to the agreement the performers of both countries will be protected equally on the contracting territories.
The Polish Union of Performing Artists STOART was founded on the initiative of the Association of Polish Musicians (SPAM), the Polish Jazz Association (PSJ) and the Association of Light Musicians (STOMUR). In 1995, the Union obtained a permit from the Minister of Culture of Poland to carry out activities in the sphere of collective rights management. STOART has 16 offices in Poland and over 12,000 contracts with users. It is a member of the Societies’ Council for the Collective Management of Performers’ Rights (SCAPR) and other international organizations.
