VOIS took part in MIDEM 2014

MIDEM, the largest international exhibition dedicated to music, was held in Cannes (France) from 1 to 4 February, 2014. Mr. A. Krichevsky, General Director of VOIS, and Mr. E. Valdez-Martinez, Deputy General Director of VOIS, attended the exhibition.
Mr. A. Krichevsky and Mr. E. Valdez-Martinez met with the representatives of the collective management societies PPL (Great Britain), SENA (the Netherlands), SPPF (France), Itsright (Italy) and with the representatives of Right’s Up (Belgium), Music Back Office and Sentinel (France) companies.
They also met with the representatives of the Global Repertoire Database (GRD) project – the project on building the unified international catalog of musical works. VOIS intends to participate in the development of this catalog along with foreign colleagues.
MIDEM is an annual event for music industry professionals: representatives of record companies, music publishers, CD and DVD producers, concert directors. The exhibition helps experts to assess the current state of the music market and find new partners.
