VOIS and “Amanat” (Kazakhstan) fled into partnership

VOIS concluded a mutual representation agreement with the private institution “Non-profit organization for the protection of copyright and related rights “Amanat”(Kazakhstan). According to the agreement performers and producers of phonograms of both countries will be protected equally on the contracting territories.
“Non-profit organization for the protection of copyright and related rights “Amanat” was founded by the Kazakh related right owners. In 2011 the organization obtained state accreditation of the Committee on Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. “Amanat” carries out collective management of the performers’ and phonogram producers’ rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Cooperation of VOIS and the Kazakh colleagues will allow Russian performers and record companies receive remuneration for the public use of music phonograms in the territory of Kazakhstan, and, accordingly, Kazakh related right owners – in the territory of Russia.
