According to Irina Ostashevskaya, Commercial Director of ForMax LLC, “effective content management is especially important in the era of digital market transformation. A successful right holder knows that his/her rights are under reliable protection, and with the help of up-to-date analytics he/she has reliable information about the use of the work, the possibilities of monetization and the situation on the market as a whole. The FONMIX service helps the right holder in this”.
The FONMIX digital player is a software for legal background audio and video design of various venues: urban spaces, parks, shopping centers, cafes, restaurants, hotels, etc. Through this service rights holders receive information about all performances of their works, which guaranteed accuracy of author’s remuneration calculation, and also ensures transparency of the market, opens new opportunities for authors to popularize and monetize their works.
In the framework of the MuzzLab discussion platform organized at the NAMM Musikmesse exhibition, Victoria Martsinkovskaya, director of work with right holders of ForMax LLC, noted that the use of digital services allows the author to create without being distracted by long and complex legal procedures. “The process of managing your product becomes transparent and understandable. The same concerns the possibilities of monetizing content. The analytics and reporting, which the FONMIX player forms, allows the musicians to see where their genre is popular, in which places their music is more often preferred – all this helps to make the right management decisions to promote the content”.
Currently, the FONMIX catalog contains more than 10 million tracks of various genres.
