VOIS concluded a bilateral agreement with the Holland collecting society on neighboring rights SENA. According to the bilateral agreement the performers and the producers of phonograms of both countries will be protected equally on the contracting territories.
Cooperation of VOIS and the Holland colleagues will allow Russian performers and record companies get remuneration for the public use of music phonograms on the territory of the Netherlands, and Holland neighboring right owners – on the territory of Russia.
Background information
SENA collecting society was launched and accredited by the state in 1993. For almost 20 years SENA has collected remuneration on behalf of performers and phonogram producers on the territory of the Netherlands. SENA represents interests of the world famous performers such as Phil Collins, Beatles, Rolling Stones, David Guetta, Christina Aguilera and many others.
